The Intercontinental Rally Challenge 2012 started with Sata Acores Rally, won by Skoda Fabia driven by Andreas Mikkelsen. The second round of the championship has been ran in the beautiful landscape of Rally Islas Canarias; the victory of this rally went to Jan Kopecky with Skoda Fabia.
The third round has seen crews fighting on the dangerous Irish asphalt in the Rally Circuit of Ireland; the victory of the rally has gone to the Skoda Fabia of Juho Hanninen. The fourth round, the Tour de Corse 2012 has gone to Dani Sordo. The fifth round, the 96th Targa Florio has gone to Jan Kopecky in a rally dominated by the death of the young Gareth Roberts.
